Our level field is ideal for those who like to camp with plenty of space around. The very small number of pitches means that you will never be tripping over your neighbour’s guy ropes. Normally there will be no more than 2 pitches used in 2.5 acres. We are members of the Greener Camping Club and this means one of the people staying must also be a member, if you’re not, no worries, we can join you on the day for £12 for a year. This will give you access to all their sites.
Campfires are a must and we just ask that you keep the fire or BBQ off the ground, we have fire bowls/BBQ’s you can hire, subject to availability. Wood or Welsh Charcoal can be supplied at a small charge and we ask that you don’t hurt our lovely trees. We are happy to help you get it started so that those marshmallows can get all nice and toasted. To help maintain the beauty of our campsite we ask that you leave your pitch as you found it and take away as much of your rubbish as possible.
We have eco friendly composting toilets, hot showers and a washing up area a short walk away. The field has a drinking water supply. You may find the stars and peace so beguiling that you forget to use your mobile. One of the Star Map Apps may help budding astronomers find their way around the night sky, we have very little light pollution. You will need a torch for walking around at night. We do ask that you keep the noise down, especially in the evening, to ensure everyone can enjoy the serenity.
1-2 well behaved dogs per pitch are very welcome in the camping fields. Please ensure that they are on leads or tethers at all times and pick up any poops, we have a doggy poo composting bin near the facilities. If you don’t have bio-degradable bags please ask on arrival. Thank you!

MoonDance shares the site with Aim Country Sports. So if you feel like trying something different, have a go at the Aerial Archery, Olympic Archery with our qualified instructor (my husband Jon). It’s very addictive and great fun and Aim is the only place in Wales offering Aerial Archery. We also offer Axe Throwing which can lead to some exciting competitions. These activities need to be booked, contact Jon.
